j & s: philadelphia wedding photography

i first met these two at a family member'swedding last year - held at the same lovely hotel, the hilton city avenue. it was so pleasant to be back in the same area and to meet with the bride's family again. the day-long wedding began with a wedding mass at st. thomas of villanova church, representing the campus where the couple met. after a beautiful and moving ceremony, the party bus took the bridal party to a couple of locations for portraits - which is sort of when i fell in love with shooting in philadelphia. character, beauty, architecture, verdure, even some age - there's no end of fascinating places to take pictures there! after portraits, we returned to the hotel for the reception, where the couple's family and friends shared speeches, performances, and toasts in celebration of their marriage.the lavish reception decor was provided by kalash decor, the dance floor music and emcee services by dj sunny, the bride's hair and makeup by pauline nobles, and dinner by palace at the ben. thank you both, j and s, and your families, for welcoming me into your lives for a day and honoring me with the opportunity to photograph it! i had a wonderful time - here's my evidence :)
