Zahir & Maggie - Baltimore Wedding Photography

ZMWeddingBlog-45.jpg

I had the pleasure of working with the Rahman family a second time this summer to photograph Zahir and Maggie's beautiful Hilton Baltimore wedding. I also had the invaluable help of Gene Aronov as my second shooter throughout the evening. The couple, who met as students, chose Moroccan-themed decor to honor the time they spent abroad in Morocco. Zahir's love for camels was represented not only in the adorable camel cake-toppers handmade by his older sister, but in the *actual* camel who came to celebrate with him. Poor Aladdin got stuck in traffic on the way up from Virginia, so he wasn't able to make it in time to accompany Zahir in his grand entrance, but he did make it at last in the end! Wedding guests also had the opportunity to enjoy a live oud performance, as well as a reading of one of Zahir's childhood poems by his loving sisters :) It was a beautiful evening and I feel so blessed to have been able to capture it! Thank you again, Zahir and Maggie, and Nabila, Amly and your parents, for bringing me back to be a part of your lives again <3 Best wishes to you all!
