Lena & Farhaan - Walima

The third and final day of Lena and Farhaan’s walima was also a little wet and cloudy, but not enough to keep us from grabbing a few pre-reception portraits outdoors at the Hilton Mclean Tyson’s corner, a gem of a hotel for bits of interior and exterior that make for gorgeous and interesting photo backdrops. Lena’s makeup was again handled by the lovely Nabila, and the fantastic decor - check out that monogrammed dance floor! - by Imperial Decor again. My memories of this day are of a beautifully planned event, with entertainment for all guests including a visually stunning show by the George Mason University bhangra team and a spectacular choreographed dance by the couple themselves that was so awesome I played their song (“I like me better when I’m with you”) all the way home lol. My eternal gratefulness, Lena and Farhaan and both your families, for inviting me to be a part of all this splendor, and for trusting me to give you these lifelong memories <3.
