Sumara & Farhan - Baltimore Wedding Photography

I already knew of Sumara when she contacted me about her wedding - she’s a super talented mehndi artist herself and she did work on some brides whose weddings I’d photographed before. For her own bridal mehndi, she commissioned Henna by Shazia, whose intricate, gorgeous design came out with the most beautiful dark stain - see below! It was such a delight to work with Sumara and her family, especially her beautiful, loving sisters. iIm grateful at every wedding to be allowed into people’s families at such a profoundly emotional time, but this one is particularly memorable to me because of this awesome family :) After the ceremony and reception at the Bwi Marriott, where the room and stage were set up beautifully by Sarah Khan, we drove up to the American Visionary Art Museum and Federal Hill in Baltimore for portraits with the outdoor sculptures by the museum, and sunset portraits over the city skyline.
