kelly & kris: doukenie winery wedding

as i got started on kelly and kris's wedding day, i told kris that i was in "photographer heaven", there at doukenie winery on an absolutely perfect late spring afternoon. that experience carried through all the way until the end of the night - an evening of everything i love most about my "job": to be surrounded by such beauty; love brimming into laughter and happiness overflowing into tears. and of course, killer afternoon sunlight, slanting over green mountains and flooding the air with warmth. it was clear, from the heartfelt words of kris's sister alice as their ceremony officiant, and from the memories and praise shared by their toast-givers, that kris and kelly are two pretty special people; but you don't need any words to understand how they feel about each other - take a look below! thank you, kelly and kris, for allowing me to help preserve your memories of this day, and to be a part of your celebration!
