rabia & azim - virginia wedding photography

it was my pleasure to be a part of rabia and azim's two-day wedding in virginia in the early fall last year. azim's brother is actually a good friend of my husband's and an old college acquaintance of mine, so it was very nice to meet the whole family and truly an honor to be the one to photograph the wedding. below i've shared some images from the pre-wedding mehndi event, held at diya restaurant in vienna, where games with the family, music by jatin anand from dc vibez and mehndi for the guests by deepti khona from henna harmony helped everyone celebrate the upcoming wedding.after the mehndi i've shared some highlights from the wedding itself, which took place at the lovely cherry blossom banquet hall in sterling, va, with gorgeous floral arrangements by america's beautiful florist matching rabia's white, blue and pink outfit. rabia's hair and makeup were done by the amazing sanober azam. after the wedding, we stopped by a nearby park for portraits in some gorgeous afternoon light, and then finished up with rabia's first-ever taste of taco bell - a wedding promise from her new husband :) i also want to give a shout out to jerold santa cruz for coming out to sterling to help me with this wedding! thank you for your beautiful photos and professional work :) and thank you once again to both of you, rabia and azim, for allowing me to be a part of your wedding!
